TD-SCDMA

TD-SCDMA (time division synchronous code division multiple access) is a third-generation (3G) mobile telephone standard for wireless network In simple terms, with this there will be whole new ways to communicate, access information, conduct business, learn and be entertained - liberated from slow, cumbersome equipment and immovable points of access.
So the old boundaries between communication, information, media and entertainment will disappear. Services will truly converge.
But it is not just about applications that require high speed data rates. It’s about convenience and speed of access.
The TD-SCDMA (Time-Division - Synchronous Code-Division Multiple Access) 3G standard was originally proposed by the China Wireless Telecommunication Standards group (CWTS), and developed further by CATT (China Academy of Telecom Technology). It was approved by 3GPP in 1999 as the UTRA-NTDD (Universal Terrestrial Radio Access - Narrowband Time Division Duplex) member of the UMTS standard family, often referred to as TDD-LCR (Time-Division-Duplex-Low Chip Rate).
